Two Maritime Blogs Added

I have added two blogs to my "Working Mariners" blog roll. Manu's Scripts is by a master mariner, a sample below from AIS friend or foe, which to kill two birds with one stone might provide more motivation for recreation vessels to stay clear of commercial vessels as I posted about below.

On one ship, I came up to the bridge to find a small fleet of sailing boats a cable and a half away in daylight and good visibility- unseen by the watchkeeper since these were not seen on the radar due to high anticlutter used, and since obviously they didn’t carry AIS, and since looking out of the porthole was apparently not in the contract. I threatened, in jest, to restrict the Officer’s certificate to read ‘Valid only on ship’s which experience no boats’ )

A cable and a half is 0.15 mile. I believe it though, new mates love to crank up the sea clutter to make a nice clean display.

The second new blog is Breezing up, a blog written by Will, a sternnman on a lobster boat in nearby Cundy's Harbor. Will blogs from a computer within earshot of the one I use BTW. Will reports that he and the captain share a taste for music and posts The Perfect Music for Hauling Lobster.

Ok, I liked one of three and I answer with "Music to what?...to work on the payroll to?
